A how-to guide is only useful if it is right. If a step is wrong, unsafe, out of date, or impossible to follow, tell us and we will check it against the sources and the procedure itself.
Report an error
Use the contact form and choose Report an error in a guide. Please include:
- The link to the guide, or its exact title.
- The step number or section that is wrong.
- What the guide says, and what you believe is correct.
- A source we can check, if you have one — a manual, a standard, or a published reference.
What we do with a report
- An editor reproduces the problem and checks the cited reference.
- If the report is right, the guide is corrected and the change is dated.
- If the report is wrong, we reply with the reasoning and the source we relied on.
- Safety-relevant errors are treated as urgent and can take a guide offline until it is fixed.
What counts as a correction
We log substantive changes: incorrect measurements, missing or misleading safety warnings, steps that cannot be completed as written, wrong materials, and factual claims not supported by the references. Typos, formatting, and illustration swaps are fixed without a log entry.
Correction log
No public corrections have been logged yet. When there are, they will appear here with the guide title, the date, and a short description of what changed.
